HI-FI SOUND

“I haven’t seen a full-featured stereo that’s as easy to use… Sounds truly impressive… More like modern furniture than an audio system.”

— Macworld —

Ingeniously engineered inside one simple cabinet, Geneva Sound Systems provide everything you find in conventional stereo. The system above has a pair of full-range stereo speakers. There is a CD player, an FM radio, and external source inputs. What’s more: there’s an iPod/iPhone dock, stereo subwoofers, and a digital amplifier drawing 80% less energy than conventional Hi-Fi. All-in-One. One box. One plug.

“Geneva Sound System is Hi-Fi 2.0,” says Germany’s Audio magazine. It has “the hallmarks of true originality” that left Home Theater “totally satisfied.” Geneva fits in the home as simply as a lamp. “I haven’t seen a full-featured stereo that’s as easy to use,” says Macworld, hailing its “exceptional sound quality.”

Geneva “looks more like a modern art piece than a typical A/V product,” says The Robb Report, among the many lifestyle media brands praising Geneva for giving sophisticated capabilities such style and simplicity in form.

Simplicity Sounds Better

Geneva Sound Systems are designed and engineered for simplicity, style – and, most importantly, great sound. They project a “striking” (Sound & Vision) stereo image with their patented technology. No matter where the listener is in the room, the Geneva system projects a solid three-dimensional sound image that is high, wide, and deep. “Even when I am seated approximately 70 degrees off-axis to the unit, it delivers an expansive soundstage and terrific stereo separation,” says The Robb Report.

Geneva Sound Systems project a stereo image in a more uniform manner throughout the whole room, thus avoiding the process of determining an optimal sweet spot. Wherever the listener is in the room, with Geneva Sound System, the distance to the right and to the left speaker is the same, thus maintaining a good stereo image throughout a room.

Geneva Sound Systems allow the listener to get up and move around the room, to enjoy a system that is easy to use and versatile. Geneva Sound Systems are a family of products, with different sizes and finishing options, which fit into your room design and your lifestyle. Unlike the constraints of conventional stereo, Geneva Sound Systems don’t require you to rearrange your life around your sound system.

Sounds Difficult

Conventional Hi-Fi has a defined position, or “sweet-spot,” where the sound is optimal for the listener. This position is where the listener has the same distance to the left and to the right speaker. Set-up guides often include diagrams, illustrating how speakers have to be placed precisely in order to create a stereo sound image. They even provide mathematical formulae for measuring precisely where various parts of the system should be relative to walls and ceilings, all to create the stereo “sweet spot” at the axis of an imaginary triangle.

However, many conventional Hi-Fi owners, even with the most expensive gear, often don’t hear proper stereo imaging because they usually hear it “off-axis.” Even if they obey the placement formulae and completely rearrange the room to optimize the listening position, they are off-axis the moment they get up and move around in the room.

But today, not everyone is content to sit tight in one place in obedience to a preordained music-listening ritual.
